HIPPA Policy

Beginning in April 2003, new federal regulations require all doctor's offices to post information regarding privacy issues. These regulations come under the Health Information Portability and Privacy Act ("HIPPA")

All our patients must sign a form in our office saying they have read, or have been given the chance to read, the regulations. You may also have a copy of the HIPPA policy to take with you if you wish.

Essentially, the law requires us to put in writing privacy policies we have already had in place.
